  • Saturday, 18 March, 2006 - Arrive Venice and transfer to your hotel. Guest have time to rest and explore Venice before our group meets for orientation meeting and welcome dinner.

  • Sunday, 19 March, 2006 - Venice - Today begins with a boat tour of the island of Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing. Continue to St. Mark's Square to begin a walking tour of romantic Venice.  Visit the Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Doges' Palace.  The balance of he day is at leisure to explore Venice on your own and perhaps take an optional gondola ride with music.   • Mon, 20 March, 2006 - Florence - Depart for Florence via Padua to visit the Basilica of St. Anthony and Pisa to view the famous Piazza del Miracoli with it Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and Duomo.  Dine tonight at a Tuscan restaurant in the countryside. (B,D) Florence

  • Tues, 21 March, 2006 - Florence - Enjoy a spectacular view of Florence from Michelangelo Square before reaching the Accademia, where Michelangelo's David is housed.  Walk to the Duomo and the Baptistery to view the "Gates of Paradise". Continue to Signoria Square and Ponte Vecchio, the "Old Bridge". Afternoon at leisure in the heart of Florence.

  • Wed, 22 March, 2006 - Tuscany - Travel through the stunning panorama of Tuscany to the medieval city Perugia for an orientation tour.  Continue to Assisi to visit the Basilica of St. Francis.  Continue to Rome for dinner and overnight. (B, D) - Rome

  • Thurs, 23 March, 2006 - Rome - Visit the Vatican and its breathtaking museum and Sistine Chapel. Walk through the St. Peter's Square and visit St. Peter's Basilica. (B) - Rome

  • Friday, 24 March, 2006 - Rome - This morning, take a walking tour of the piazzas and fountains of Rome including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Piazza navona and the Pantheon.  This afternoon, a tour of 'ancient Rome' takes you to the Roman Forum, the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine.  Tonight, we say goodnight to Rome with a dinner in typical Roman restaurant with wine and music, followed by an illuminated tour of Rome by night.

  • Sat, 25 March, 2006 - Naples Italy - Drive south passing the famous Monte Cassino Abbey and Mt. Vesuvius to the Bay of Naples.  Visit the ruins of Pompeii including the Temples of Apollo and Jupiter and the Forum.  Continue to Naples for dinner and overnight.

  • Sun, 26 March, 2006 - Athens, Greece- This morning, visit the National Archeological Museum than transfer to airport for your short flight to Athens.  Transfer to your hotel. Guest have a little time to explore Athens before our group meets for a welcome dinner.

  • Mon, 27 March, 2006 - Pireaus, Greece - Transfer to pier in Piraeus to board ship for 11:00 am departure. Evening in Mykonos.
    Mykonos, Greece- Mykonos combines the cosmopolitan and sophisticated lifestyle with the simple yet charming life of this Cycladic Island.  Take a stroll through the maze of narrow streets, marvel at the hundreds of tiny chapels and the whitewashed houses with their flower-filled balconies.  Take a walk up the famous windmills or just relax on the waterfront, enjoy the sunset, accompanied by a refreshing drink or traditional ouzo!

Nearby, lies the Ancient city of Ephesus, founded by the Athenians.  A tour to Ephessos will allow you to discover a treasure of Greek, Hellenistic and Roman monuments which witness the past power and prosperity of this city. View the Forum, Odeon, Library of Celsus, the Termal Baths of Scolastika and the magnificent Greek Amphitheater, which is still eminent for its remarkable acoustics.
    Patmos, Greece -Very Often, Patmos is called the Jerusalem of the Aegean Sea.  It is the sacred island wher St. John the Divine, whilst in exile wrote the Book of Revelations, which constitutes the last part of the New Testament. Built 900 years ago, the Monastery of St. John is an impressive structure with outstanding interior frescoes.  The museum inside also exhibits priceless ecclesiastical treasures.  Visit the Grotto where St. John lived and actually wrote the Book of Revelations.

  • Thurs, 30 March, 2006 - Heraklion, Greece - Heraklion is the most important town and commercial port of Crete.  The well-known archaeological site of Knossos is situated only 3 miles away from the town's center and is believed to be the largest and most suggestive Minoan site ever discovered in Crete.  The Palace of Knossos was not only the residence of the ruling bouse but also an administrative & religious centre for the whole region. The The Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, exhibits a fine display of Minoan culture discovered diring the excavations of Knossos.
    Santorini, Greece - Santorini is a unique island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis. Marvel at the whitewashed village of Fira, capital of the island with its narrow and picturesque streets, perched on the Caldera rim.  Enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, whilst relaxing over coffee and gazing out to sea. Visiting Oia is also a must, an inspiration to all artists with numerous art galleries and spetacular views. Access to Fira is an amazing cable car ride or for the more daring, by donkey.
